1-2-1 classes for an hour
”I loved every minute of our 1-2-2 photography class, and am really excited to try out my new skills.
I got my camera at Christmas and really had no idea how to use it. This class has given me so much helpful information and I now feel confident to give manual mode a go! I was delighted with the photographs I took at the class (on manual mode), and the photographs I have taken since are so much better than I could have ever managed before.
Caroline was extremely knowledgeable, supportive and patient. A great teacher!
I plan to practice what I have learnt and then come back for more!
I would highly recommend these classes, and have already recommended them to others. ” Deborah Black

Nice words from some lovely people :-
Dear Caroline,
Thank you for a lovely time spent with you within your studio it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience , I have learned so much from you today, and, as usual thinking cap goes on when I got home revising what I learned from you, I have been on a journey that changed me from just doing auto all the time to experimenting with different settings and hopefully producing nice results, you make it look so easy, very professional but making it easy to understand, I enjoyed the little dogs superb little models ( that was a favourite of mine their composure was really lovely)
Thankyou
And my best wishes to you and the wee model dogs,x Wilma
Dear Caroline
I can’t thank you enough for your wonderful and inspiring class. I loved every minute of it and am determined to take wonderful professional looking photographs in my favourite AV mode in future (and even if I dare manual!) I have already managed to take some new shots of my holiday cottages using the AV adjuster for indoor shots which worked brilliantly! Automatic will be kept for last resort from now on. Please do thank Christopher for an absolutely delicious lunch, what a treat that was. Also a big pat & stroke goes to Tilly and Mungo, what amazing models, so patient!
Thank you also for all the wonderful notes, really great for reminding me of everything so I will keep them in my camera bag. It’s just great to finally understand what all the different modes mean and having some understanding of light and shutter speed.
I hope all the lovely summer weddings go well. No doubt you will see me back again at some point in the future for a refresher!
Many thanks again
Katie
Hello Caroline,
Just a short note to thank you for the course, I really enjoyed the day.
I thought you were knowledgeable, informative and very supportive with the attendees and very friendly.
I particularly liked how you spent time with each of us, helping us get to know our camera and not be afraid to make ‘it’ do what ‘we want’ it to do.
Lunch was lovely, made all the better by a chef who was great company while we ate it.
I have been out and about, I am taking a photo a day and intend to keep doing this. On Wednesday I went to Otterston Loch near Burntisland and with my Camera set to Aperture took several photographs of birds and the Loch at different ISO settings and Shutter Speeds.
I have attached one of the photo’s. Your feedback would be appreciated. Thanks again for making the day great and removing some of the mysteries attached to photography. All the best Paddy.
Many thanks for the day. I had some knowledge re shutter speed/ aperture but found the information on the relationship between shutter /aperture and iso of great help. The information given on other aspects of camera function {forget auto!!) was easy to understand and was cemented in conversation with you during the practical side of the day in the garden. The information on framing of subjects, i.e position was, also of of help. Thanks again for the day and wish you well for future courses.
Gordon.
‘’ I just wanted to thank you for the course on Saturday. I really did enjoy it and I am amazed at what I picked up and have retained! I found you in particular to be very helpful and understanding and I am very pleased at how much I did learn. I not only enjoyed taking the pictures, I enjoyed looking at them after and I could evaluate the pictures both positively and critically. Having the pictures to look at is also keeping some of the information I learned fresh as I can associate certain settings and tips by looking at certain pictures ‘’
